You come in many colors shapes and sizes,
Duck tongues, beanies
top hats, fedoras,
Fitted caps , and cowboy hats
all so wonderful
you keep the rain off my head
you keep my hair from making a mess
and on those bad hair days
you hide me from embarrassment
who needs expensive hair cuts when you have a hat
you hat will cover it all for you
they are just so wonderful
but have you ever
wore a hat
which made you scratch your hair all day?
Or have you ever bought a hat that was too tight?
Has a hat ever got you to stay after school,
in the principals office?
