Love?
Christopher defines love as to care for someone and to look after them, however no touching is to be involved. I do agree that love is to care for others and to look after them in their best interest. However I also believe that physical contact with the ones you love is also a very important thing. You would hug the person, hold their hands, and maybe even kiss them. Christopher seems to take these things as evil, and not doable things. No one is to ever touch him in any way. People experience love through actions they and others take together, or apart. The action usually shows appreciation and care for one another. Things such as carrying heavy things for another person, helping them hold an umbrella, the most simple one saying thank you. Even with the condition that Christopher has, I still believe that he is able of understanding love, but just not feeling it like others would. He still feels the care that his father gave him and also remembers when his mother was nice to him. I believe that he is able of experiencing love without the having to be normal. However Christopher can change his mind about the love of a person very quick. He use to know his father loves him and also feel it, but after knowing that his father killed the dog he became afraid of him and no longer loved him.
