Living Together

In my society the cultural is very diverse, even though everyone looks like they are from the same background. Even though we do had foreign looking people who live in Taiwan, but the majority is still made up of Asian looking people. The foreigners does have a lot of cultural influence, they influenced our beliefs, way of dressing, and also the way we interact with others. Also people who have lived in other countries and moved back here in Taiwan also bring bits of cultural with them. In Taiwan there are many cultural influences, which may vary from small to large.  Not all influences benefit the society but many do. Such Diverse cultures make Taiwan a special place where you can find all kinds of products from all over the world. 

In my own school, we may not have people from different races but we do have a huge diversity of family backgrounds. We have people who were born in america, people who learned English as their first language, and people who learned Chinese first and then switched.  However all of us are the way we are because of our parents. With is amount of diversity we form different groups in school. The main groups being English speakers and non-English speakers. However both group are friendly with each other and we build a good school of students. Also with the different cultures everyone learns a bit from others, having it be bad or good, we don't know. Such as the words we use are also influenced by the others around us. At first you may not know when to use the word so you use it at improper times, but soon you learn. In other cases English speakers and help the non-English speakers with their classes, and this is a good thing. Therefore cultural influences can both benefit and yet harmful in small areas.
